To take fluent in english...OMG 10 years? I haven´t got problems with english but for other pupil it´s gettin´ very hard... Any of them can´t say "TH" they say "S" ---> sen se man.... ;D that means in german "Sensenmann" and in english it means "Scythesman"... see I can´t speak english without making mistakes. But english goes very well, I suck at french...

OMG, I so totally love languages. I'm Norwegian and started learning English when I was 5-6 years old, so I got it pretty fluent by the time I hit 7th grade. I kept on with it throughout high school and afterwards I lived a year in the US and a year in England. Besides, my sis is married to an American, so I can't ever said I've had any trouble there. I've also had German(though sadly forgotten most of it), Spanish and Italian in school plus attended two courses in Arabic. And I am currently learning Romanian and Gaelic so if anyone can be of help there I'd appreciate it enormously ;D I'll start my bachelor degree at the Uni this fall in languages, with Spanish and Latin American studies as my major and I can barely wait ;D

Yeah, I've always found that Norwegians are not very good at speaking English at all, those who are normally come from the western parts of the country. Which I do btw, but not referring to myself......I'm not that big-headed The people you met were probably from around Oslo/the east side of Norway.....their English is generally really bad Strange though, bcz most Scandinavians start learning English around 3rd-4th grade......
