I wouldn't have normally, but I've gotten sort of carried away with it My favorites Norway(of course) and Romania didn't qualify and my only favorite in the Euro;Spain went out after the game against Portugal So now I'm sticking with Sweden, and they're still 0-0 against Holland.....after an entire match and extra time is added up to it

Can't believe Sweden lost against Holland on penalty Now my only hope is for Denmark, and if they go out as well I won't even watch any of those last games

man i wanted Denmark and Sweden to go through (they have aston villa players ) but it just seemed like they did deserve to go through really, maybe not denmark though because they never really looked like scoring can't believe Vassell and Mellberg had enalties saved! The same happened at euro 96 and one of our players missed then too!

Zlatan Ibrahimovic was my Euro 2004 hero after that brill goal he made in the match against Italy.....I still can't believe he missed the penalty And tonight it's the semi final between Holland and Portugal......I hope for victory to the latter

And so Portugal is off to the final after their 2-1 victory over Holland ;D Who they will meet for Sunday's final will be decided tomorrow when Greece meets the Czech Republic(personally I have my hopes up for Greece), and also Holland and the losing team of tomorrows battle will play for a bronze Actually, after seeing the superb play by Portugal today I have changed my mind about my favorites and now hope that the hosting nation will pull it off And Ronaldo is my new fave, despite his young age he looks totally fab ;D I thought it was so cute after the game was over how Ronaldo and Von Nistelrooy hugged eachother and swapped shirts....awwwwww

I take it you supported Holland then?? I am glad Portugal won, after all it's all about the best players and Portugal has loads of them in comparison to other teams. I mean did you see that goal Maniche put in?? That together with Zlatan's goal against Italy must be the finest goals I've seen so far in the Euro. At first I didn't like Portugal for sending Spain out, but it's clear to see that they're a top team and it would take a lot to beat them. They are besides incredible when it comes to having ball control Only downtrip was Andrade's loop into his own goal But Holland did deserve that goal, they've really fought hard to get that far and they definetely deserve the third spot. Besides, if they hadn't sent Sweden out, I would have been fuming seeing our neighbours lose for Portugal

Since Holland knocked Sweden out I wanted Portugal to go through. But for Hollands nice way of handling their loss and their good spirit I say they deserve a third place victory Well, it all depends on tomorrow's result, if the Czechs lose against Greece there's little chance of Holland grasping the third place. So in that way I hope Portugal and the Czech Republic meet in the final......at least then both Portugal and Holland have chances to win their games. Losses are bitter pills to swallow at first, but after all it's just a game and all the teams want to get to the top as much as the others. They all aim to win and as my father, an extreme football enthusiast says: May the best team win

Hehe....I guess it depends on the person you ask I do have a tendency to get really upheated when I cheer for a team, especially in handball and football......you should have heard my foul language when the Norwegian handball team for women failed to win against Ukraine and thus lost their chance to participate in the World Championship in Athens Almost as bad as when Sweden lost to Holland And I have to admit I'm a really sore loser in most ways, but I get over it just as quickly ;D

I used to play handball myself for nearly 10 years, being a goalkeeper for 2-3 of them......it's great fun to play and it's still in me even though it's been 5 years since I played with a team. I'm considering starting again, that would be so great Right now I'm sitting with my heart up in my throat watching the second semi final between Greece and the Czech Republic, it's halftime and still 0-0 I almost hope for a penalty competition, that would be adrenaline!!!! Who will meet Portugal in Sundays final??? I'm not sure who to hope for, bcz I really want Portugal to win, but both Greece and the Czechs have good chances of winning the final........and most likely win the 3rd place spot from Holland as well!!! What a thriller this is turning out to be

lol i can't believe how many matches are going to penalties though! 2 is quite a lot really ( is it 2? have lost count)
also it's a horrible way to go out
as we speak czechs hit the crossbar!!!!
anyway that sepp blatter of the fifa wanted to make it so if matches were a draw, then it went to penalties, so effectively, there was always a winner! how crap would that be! he wanted it like for the premiership and stuff, football is going to be messed up if the rules keep changing, like that new offside rule!!!!!!
